In this book, Dr. Abdullah Al Luhaidan expounds upon the idea of tolerance in Islam, and its different manifestations, by using examples from the biography of the Prophet Muhammad (sa) and supporting evidences from the Qur’an and the Sunnah. The Arabic word that is translated in English as ‘tolerance’ actually encompasses a much richer meaning than the idea of putting up with something grudgingly. It conveys a reciprocal sense of generosity, forgiveness, ease and smoothness.
